Are you working to eliminate or substitute PFAS in your packaging, processes, or products?
A new funding call from Denmark’s environmental cluster, Clean, offers up to DKK 230,000 in support for innovation projects aimed at accelerating the transition to PFAS-free solutions.
What is funded under substitution?
The call specifically targets projects that bring green, PFAS-free alternatives closer to implementation and market readiness:
PFAS Substitution in Packaging: Redesigning and testing PFAS-free alternatives for packaging (specifically for toys and clothing) to comply with current and upcoming regulations, as well as validating their functionality, safety, and circularity.
Material Validation: Testing and demonstrating PFAS-free technologies in laboratory or pilot environments to document performance under realistic conditions.
Who Can Apply?
Projects must consist of a consortium of at least one Danish SME and one knowledge institution. No cash co-financing is required – your company only co-finances with its own working hours.
Application Deadline: September 2026.
Let’s build a consortium together
As an approved GTS institute and host of the PFAS Partnership, Danish Technological Institute (DTI) is ready to act as your knowledge partner and help build the necessary consortium to secure this funding. We have extensive experience helping companies map, test, and document PFAS-free materials.
Reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss your project idea and prepare the application.
