How the partnership works

Participation is free and allows you to engage at the level that suits your organization’s needs and capacity.

However, PFAS work often spans both procurement, R&D, production, sales and management. Therefore, multiple participants from the same company are welcome and encouraged, as involving several colleagues helps ensure faster and more effective action.

As a member of the Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership with Industry, you have access to three different types of engagement activities: Members meetings, Task forces, and Network groups.

Member meetings

Member Meetings are open to all partnership members and serve as the primary forum for updates, networking, and alignment across the partnership. There are two physical meetings and two online meetings per year.

What to expect

  • Updates on partnership progress and deliverables
  • PFAS regulatory and technical insights
  • Networking opportunities with other member companies
  • Input and sparring on strategic direction

Task forces

Task Forces are working groups focused on developing guidelines and concrete tools within specific PFAS-related topics. Members can sign up for one or more task forces based on interest and relevance.

What to expect

  • Active participation in workshops and working sessions
  • Contribute with experience, cases, and input from your organization
  • Receive practical tools and deliverables to use internally
  • Influence the direction of partnership outputs

Current task forces

  • Internal Communication
  • Impact Assessments
  • Standardization of language and closed-loop handling
  • Categorization of PFAS Use
  • Education and competence development

Network Groups

Network Groups bring together members with similar professional roles across companies for peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and collaboration. The network groups meet three times a year in different locations.

What to expect

  • Share and learn from other companies facing similar PFAS challenges
  • Discuss practical approaches in a trusted peer environment
  • Build cross-company relationships within your professional field

Join the partnership

By joining the partnership, you can:

  • Save time by working on PFAS challenges together with others
  • Avoid regrettable or risky substitutions
  • Gain a clear overview of where PFAS is present
  • Understand your options for action and phase-out
